International Women’s Day 2021 saw many players, fans and organisations taking to social media to celebrate the women in their life. Here we highlight some of the posts from the golfing community.

Multiple LET champion and LETAS Order of Merit winner Meghan MacLaren wrote a blog entitled ‘For The Women’.

“I am indebted to the women who came before, as we all are.

The women who drove us hundreds of miles around the country before we could do it ourselves. Who booked hotels and knew entry deadlines and remembered handicap certificates…” https://t.co/m6gDJJ23X0

European Solheim Cup star Caroline Masson shared the winning putt from the 2019 Solheim Cup.

Former European Solheim Cup captain and multiple LET winner Annika Sorenstam will co-host the Scandinavian Mixed Hosted by Henrik & Annika.

A few posts went back into the archives and found stories of trailblazers within golf.

Making golf accessible to everyone and encouraging girls to participate was another theme seen on social media.
