It can happen to anyone. An injury can be a horrible thing for anyone in wrestling because no one is immune to them. It can be anything from a minor issue to a devastating and potentially career ending situation and sometimes you have to hope that things are not as bad as they seem. There is another one this time around but it might not be as bad as it could be.
One of the best things about the AEW roster is its international diversity. The company has wrestlers from all over the world, meaning it has a great mixture of different styles and options coming together for some rather positive results. Even AEW is not immune to injury though and one of its international stars is going to be on the sidelines for a bit. That means another international star is taking his place.
AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Pac suffered an ankle injury at Revolution, meaning that he is not cleared to team with Rey Fenix for a Tag Team Title shot against the Young Bucks. Therefore, the Laredo Kid from AAA will be taking Pac’s place in a six man tag, teaming with the Lucha Bros against the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler, on this week’s Dynamite. There is no word on when Pac will be cleared to return.
With @BASTARDPAC recovering from injuring his ankle at Revolution, he’s not yet cleared for the tag title shot with @ReyFenixMx v. @youngbucks, so Death Triangle are bringing back the Lucha Brothers’ original @AEW Trios partner Laredo Kid to get the edge ahead of the title match! pic.twitter.com/GswJejW1rG
