Kevin Durant Says Nets Can ‘Adjust And Adapt As Time Goes On’ Following Win

James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving all started together for the first time since Feb. 13 in the Brooklyn Nets’ 105-91 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Irving lead the scoring with 22 points, while Durant added 12 points and nine rebounds, with Harden finishing with five points and seven assists.

“We’ve all been playing the game for a while, so I feel like we can adjust and adapt as time goes on. Injuries kept us away from playing with each other, but mentally, we were always locked in and trying to find different ways to play. Our voices were loud on the bench when we were injured. Guys always talking in the film room.

“Guys are just actually playing minutes now. But we always been in constant communication with each other and trying to figure out the best way to play,” said Durant after the game.

Currently the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Nets would clinch the seed with a Bucks loss or a Nets win on Sunday.

Durant said he wants to play on Sunday regardless to regain his rhythm.

“We want to finish the season off, so I’m sure we’re all looking at that game and seeing what happens. Just for rhythm and just to get back on the court again, I want to play.”
