James Brown and Kaden Space are 2 of Chicago’s rising high school basketball stars. They’re teammates at Chicago St Rita HS. 6’7 James Brown is the top ranked player in Illinois’ Class of 2024 and is considered a national prospect. He runs with Mac Irvin Fire 15U Nike EYBL Squad. Kaden Space is one of the top shooting guards in the Chicago Catholic League and already holds D1 offers as a junior to be. He runs with Young N Reckless on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
While they team up all season long for high school, you can’t coach the competitive nature out of Chicago’s toughest players. Mac Irvin Fire’s 15U squad played up at Young N Reckless 16U (one of the Midwest’s top independent AAU teams) at Prep Hoops’ event in Aurora, IL. It was truly a battle with trash talking throughout. In the end, YNR got the W but you can decide who got the best of the matchup…
And when fall HS ball tips off, James Brown and Kaden Space will be trying to bring a conference title and more to St Rita on Chicago’s South Side.
