Johnny Gargano & Kyle O’Reilly Update: Will They Re-Sign With WWE Or Jump To AEW?

As noted, Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly are now both free agents, as their contracts with WWE have expired and they have since been removed from the company’s active internal talent roster, meaning they are free to appear wherever they choose.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio at F4WOnline.com, Dave Meltzer provided an update on this story.

According to Meltzer, the impression within WWE is that both are “taking time off,” as opposed to parting ways with the promotion.

Both are unrestricted free agents, meaning they could each appear at AEW Winter Is Coming for example, if Tony Khan were able to pull off a deal.

It was noted during the WOR program that Gargano has yet to make a decision regarding his next career move. WWE reportedly offered him a “better” offer than his previous deal, which is one option that he has on the table.

The fact that Gargano and O’Reilly both opted not to sign deals with WWE shows they are serious about at least exploring outside offers from other promotions.

We will keep you posted here at eWrestlingNews.com as updates regarding Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly continue to surface.
