Ravi Shastri likely to make a return for South Africa Test series

I used to regard his commentary as not bring great. He was the champ of cliche and obvious stuff. Almost every other game he would go ‘they have to play well from here to win’… Of course sherlock!

That being said, Murali Kartik, Sanju Manju, Akash Chopra and their ilk have reduced the standard so drastically, that Ravi is clearly head and shoulders above.

With his experience with the Indian team, I hope that it would add a dimension to his work. Looking forward to hearing him back on air again.
