The newly formed pairing of Malik Blade & Edris Enofé has a tall task waiting in the opening round of the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic when they square off with Legado del Fantasma.
They may have earned their spot in this year’s tournament off a disqualification victory, but that hasn’t diminished Blade & Enofé from looking to prove everyone wrong and raise the Dusty Cup after showing what they are capable of in their play-in match against Joe Gacy & Harland.
This will be the second straight Dusty Rhodes Classic for Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza after making it to last year’s semifinals. With La Familia now back at full strength thanks to the return of Santos Escobar and commitment of Elektra Lopez, Legado look to get back in the NXT Tag Team Title hunt.
