How often can you replace the header? Wraps help with keeping heat in the system at the expense of the longevity of the item that is wrapped. The wraps do help keep things nearby cooler, so that’s also a huge plus.
I would look at ceramic coating inside and out first and then look at wrapping if you still have issues with heat transfer away from the header. The coating will prevent the header from getting damaged as quickly.
