Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai def. Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade in a Dusty Cup Match

The odd couple pairing of Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai kept their miraculous run in the 2022 Dusty Cup alive after upsetting Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade to punch their ticket to the finals.

As action spilled outside the ring, Gonzalez and Kai locked eyes as if they might come to blows, but while Big Mami Cool stared down Kai, she was jumped from behind by Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin. Jayne and Dolin targeted her leg with a weapon and battered it against the ring post.

Gonzalez was tended to by medical personnel, but Jade hit Choo with a huge kick to the head and a running knee. Gonzalez tagged herself in to save her partner, but she could barely stand following the attack.

Seemingly split on whether to take advantage of Gonzalez’s injuries, Kai second guessed a running kick to the head, opening the door for Big Mami Cool to set up for a Chingona Bomb before collapsing due to her injured leg. After escaping, Kai didn’t hesitate a second time, leveling Gonzalez with a kick before she and Choo combined for a splash and double stomp off the top rope to keep Gonzalez down for the pinfall.

Fallon Henley picked up her first career win on NXT 2.0 at the expense of “Daddy’s Little Rich Girl” Tiffany Stratton, who was caught off guard by the appearance of Sarray.

Stratton displayed her power and athleticism with a modified Samoan Drop until smoke started billowing on the entrance ramp. The Warrior of the Sun suddenly appeared to deliver a swift kick to “The Buff Barbie” followed quickly by a flying knee from Henley for the 1-2-3.

LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller – Last Man Standing Match: WWE NXT, March 8, 2022

LA Knight and Grayson Waller look to settle their heated rivalry in a brutal Last Man Standing Match. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Grayson Waller def. LA Knight in Last Man Standing Match

LA Knight exorcised a lot of his demons against his tormentor Grayson Waller, but “The Arrogant Aussie” pulled out all the dirty tricks to survive the brutal match and be the last man standing.

Knight jumped Waller as he made his way down the entrance ramp, dropping him onto the steel barricade.

As the two Superstars battered one another into the top of the stands, Knight delivered a swift right hand to send Waller falling to the floor and into the hands of a waiting Sanga. Waller’s personal bodyguard leveled Knight, but the veteran yanked Sanga into the ring post and handcuffed him to it.

All alone, Waller was decimated by Knight, who caught him mid Stunner and tossed him over the ropes and through a table. Knight pummeled Waller with a trash can and a steel chair before setting him up for a powerbomb through the announce table, but ever the opportunist, Waller pulled a weapon out of his pocket and nailed Knight with it.

With Knight sprawled across the announce table, Waller climbed to the top rope and delivered a flying elbow through the table, using Sanga to pull himself up before the count of 10 to win the match.

The powerhouse duo of Io Shirai & Kay Lee Ray bested the veteran tag team of Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter to earn their spot in the Women’s Dusty Classic Finals.

Catanzaro & Carter one-upped The Queen of the Sky with their unique acrobatic offense, picking apart the former NXT Women’s Champion until Shirai caught Catanzaro with a pair of knees.

Shirai kept her foot on the gas with a 619 and a missile dropkick before tagging in Ray. With all four competitors feeling the effects of the match, Catanzaro & Carter nearly scored the win with Catanzaro delivering an amazing elevated hurricanrana off Carter’s shoulders, but the pinfall was broken up by Shirai.

The Queen of the Sky then dispatched Carter, launching her into the steel steps before whipping Catanzaro into a superkick from Kay Lee Ray. The duo then planted Catanzaro with a KLR Bomb and a moonsault in quick succession to secure the victory.

Bron Breakker vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Dolph Ziggler – NXT Title Triple Threat Match: WWE NXT, March 8, 2022

NXT Champion Bron Breakker puts his title on the line in a wild Triple Threat Match against Tommaso Ciampa and Dolph Ziggler. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Dolph Ziggler def. NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa

Dolph Ziggler defied the odds and conquered NXT 2.0 by defeating NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match to capture one of the only titles that has eluded him throughout his incredible career.

Breakker and Ciampa’s friendship lasted all of 10 seconds as The Showoff rolled out of the ring at the opening bell to leave the two NXT stars to duke it out. Breakker steamrolled his two competitors, suplexing them both at the same time before being dumped to the outside and eating a splash by Ciampa.

After demolishing Breakker with a running knee, Ciampa survived a famouser and Zig Zag that yielded a near-fall. The NXT Universe was on its feet as Breakker, Ciampa and Ziggler traded devastating blows and near-falls in quick succession.

Breakker thought he had it won after delivering a gorilla press slam to Ziggler, but Robert Roode pulled Breakker out of the ring before the three-count. Ciampa capitalized with a Fairytale Ending to Breakker, setting him up for a running knee, but Roode once again pulled Breakker outside the ring. Seconds later, The Blackheart turned right into a superkick from Ziggler, who shocked the world by pinning Ciampa to capture the NXT Title.
