Joe Gacy def. Quincy Elliott

Hellbent on molding NXT Level Up into his vision, Joe Gacy kicked off the show by taking credit for bringing WWE’s newest brand into existence. Grinning from ear to ear, Gacy insisted that his debut opponent, Quincy Elliott, deserves an opportunity.

While it’s fair to question Gacy’s sincerity, he improved to 2-0 on NXT Level Up and won his fifth consecutive match overall thanks in part to a key assist from Harland.

Elliott staggered Gacy with a wicked headbutt and a big splash, but Harland hopped onto the apron to make his presence felt by staring daggers through Elliott. Seconds later, Gacy took advantage of the distraction by catching his foe with a boot to the face and a handspring lariat for the three-count.

Ivy Nile def. Kiana James via Submission

One of the shining stars in the early days of NXT Level Up, the no-nonsense Ivy Nile put her undefeated singles record on the line against newcomer Kiana James.

Seeking the most important win of her career, James fared quite a bit better than many of Nile’s previous opponents, matching her hold for hold in the early goings and repeatedly driving her back-first into the turnbuckles before earning a two-count with a sidewalk slam.

Nile stopped James dead in her tracks, however, blocking a suplex and quickly snatching her in what can best be described as a reverse dragon sleeper to force a near-immediate tapout.

Edris Enofé & Malik Blade def. Jacket Time

The WWE Universe received a treat in NXT Level’s Up’s main event, as Jacket Time and the duo of Edris Enofé and Malik Blade dazzled the masses with a pulse-pounding tag team bout that saw all four competitors take to the skies early and often.

Though Enofé and Blade are on the suspect list of who may have attacked The Creed Brothers on NXT 2.0, they remained focused on the task at hand and caught fire when they isolated Ikemen Jiro and blasted him with several quick-hitting moves, an onslaught that was highlighted by Enofé’s bulldog.

Jacket Time got a reprieve when Jiro tagged in Kushida and the duo hit stereo baseball slides to send each of their foes careening into the ringside barricade, but Enofé interrupted the count after Jiro landed a swanton bomb on Blade. Blade then caught Kushida out of midair before teaming up with Enofé for an impressive tandem slam that secured the win, and the two tandems shook hands and hugged as NXT Level Up concluded.
