
KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Brady Bacon was named the Driver of the 12 months by the North American Non-Winged Dash Automobile Ballot for the second time in his profession.
The award is voted on by a panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officers and producers.
Bacon, who received his third USAC AMSOIL Nationwide Dash Automobile championship, earned 9 of the 11 first-place votes that had been forged. Tyler Courtney and Justin Grant every obtained a single first-place vote.
Grant, who received 4 USAC options, completed second within the ballot, whereas Chris Windom, Chase Stockon and Kyle Cummins rounded out the highest 5.
Apparently, Courtney ranked seventh.
Bacon’s Dynamics, Inc./Hoffman Racing No. 69 group with Brady Bacon, earned Workforce of the 12 months honors for the third time (2008, 2016).
Max Adams was bestowed the “Wild Card Award” for his thrilling non wing dash automobile performances, whereas Rossville, Indiana’s Cole Bodine will obtain the ballot’s rookie-of-the-year award.
Richie Murray of USAC will obtain Media Member of the 12 months honors for the second 12 months in a row. One other recipient for the second-year working can be Joe Spiker of Lincoln Park Speedway and Paragon Speedway, who will once more obtain the Promoter of the 12 months award.
John Godfrey of Spike Chassis will obtain Builder/Producer of the 12 months honors for the fifth time.
