Carson Wentz will not debut with the Indianapolis Colts carrying No. 11.
Extensive receiver Michael Pittman Jr. admitted in an interview with TMZ Sports that he would not plan on giving up the quantity for the previous Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller.
“I’m quantity 11,” Pittman stated. “I do not suppose there’s any deal that’s gonna be carried out.
“I spoke to (Wentz) and he was simply seeing how locked in I used to be to No. 11, and I instructed him I used to be locked in and he was like, ‘That is cool, bro, as a result of I am in all probability gonna swap anyway.'”
Wentz has worn No. 11 since his days at North Dakota State. It is unclear which quantity he’ll select for the upcoming season.
The Colts acquired Wentz from the Eagles in change for a third-round choose and a conditional 2022 second-round choose. He’ll reunite with former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich.
